Jackie Benevides is an educator and school leader dedicated to ensuring every child has access to engaging and rigorous learning. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from The George Washington University.

Jackie began her career as a Teach For America corps member in New Orleans, where she developed a strong belief in creating schools where every child feels supported and motivated to learn. She has since served in Boston as a classroom teacher, mentor, instructional coach, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, and Assistant Principal.

In leadership roles, Jackie works closely with teachers, families, and colleagues to improve instruction, strengthen relationships, and create systems that support effective and equitable school operations. She approaches her work collaboratively, guided by the needs of the school community.

Jackie lives in Roslindale with her husband, two children, and their puppy.
